Our Services

Geek-Tech provides web design, web development, graphic design, and web hosting services to clients in South Africa and beyond. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are agreed upon in writing (via email or a formal quote) before work begins.

We reserve the right to decline any project request at our discretion.

Payment & Quotes

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A deposit (agreed per project) is required before work commences. The remaining balance is due upon project completion before the final deliverables are handed over or a site goes live.

Late payments may result in work being paused until the outstanding amount is settled.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure timely delivery of your project, you agree to:

• Provide all required content, images, logos, and copy in a timely manner
• Review and provide feedback within the agreed timeframe
• Ensure that any content supplied does not infringe on third-party rights
• Designate a single point of contact for approvals to avoid conflicting instructions

Delays caused by late client feedback may affect the project timeline and are not the responsibility of Geek-Tech.

Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all custom design work and content created specifically for their project. Geek-Tech retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Any third-party assets (stock images, fonts, plugins, themes) remain subject to their respective licences. We will advise you of any such licences that may affect your use of the final product.

Web Hosting

Hosting plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as agreed. Hosting fees are non-refundable. We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, as some downtime may occur for maintenance or due to factors outside our control.

Non-payment of hosting fees may result in suspension of services. We will provide reasonable notice before taking any such action.

Limitation of Liability

Geek-Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or any temporary unavailability of your website. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
